    Support Squads

so what do you guys think of the support squads in genral. Are they worth the points or just a pain in the but? The main one i want to ask about is the Sentinel squad. i was thinking about a full three Sentinel squad with multi lasers for killing troops, becuses the Sentinels in my normal squad have lascannons.

If you do things right people wont be sure if you have done anything at all.

Support squads, in my opinion, are golden. I use two fire support squads at a minimum in pretty much every army list I have. I even use Anti Tank squads in bigger games (2000+ points).

Sentinel support squads are very nice too. I happen to be a big fan of Sentinels because of their versatility in an IG army, so I would have to say that if you want some more Sentinels, then use them. Just remember to keep them cheap, OR keep them out of range.

In other words, it's ok to put Lascannons and a Sentinel, just make sure that you keep the Sentinel out of range of Heavy Bolters and other weapons that don't have too much difficulty penetrating the armor.
