What is the size of a base for a Terminator? Some people told me that its 40 mm but in new SM codex its 25 mm!?
The old ones are on 25 mm bases. The new plastic ones are on 40 mm bases. The reason the pics in the codex show 25 mm ones is that the new termies were made after the codex war published.
So the termies are on 40 mm bases...

Yep. 40mm. But the rules state (somewhere) that models must be based on whatever size base is supplied with the model. One could argue that if you have older models then you could keep the 25mm base. But termies just look so much better on larger bases.

I'm inclined to base them on the 25mm base, for two diffrent reasons.
1st, I've only got the 25mm basses from my old Termies (piss poor reason but I'm cheap)
2nd, I dont want to hear about being cheesy and spreading out my 5 man termi formation by using larger bases and thouse getting around the plasma cannon blast problem. (Oh, wait that would be a great reason to use them!):shifty:
