Well since every1 thinks space marines are awesome and there all good, but what space marine units are useless?? And i would like to compare space marines most useless unit to other armies most useless unit .
For space marines i would have to say veterans. I just believe there not worth the extra points and anything they can do, any other squad can do it better.
Others i would have to say are Scout bikes and scouts with shotguns(they are beyond useless).
Any other comments?

I dunno, if you want to get a squad with a las/plas combo with tankhunters, without using traits, and deploying later, it is hard to go past a veteran squad.
My first place for useless, no doubt, is scout bikes. I have some from a trade and they haven't seen the light of day since. Lemm put a meltagun on them and I will reconsider...

Sorry scoput bikers? A cheap bike choice that gets a free move before the game starts? I disagree boyos. My vote goes for the fully geared up command squad with champion, standard, heavy + special weapons etc. Even that is not useless just a horrible waste of points that incidentally takes away your characters indepentdent status. they are still fun to use though.

I would say that scout bikes do have their (limited) use in some armys, getting a first-turn charge can be really good sometimes, and if you give them meltabombs they can get rid of that annoying leman russ early.. But they are a one-trick pony and you shouldn't expect them to live after the first charge..
Veterans definitely have their uses, especially in armies without traits, just remember to not tool them out too much and don't base your whole strategy on them.
Scouts with shotguns tho... *Shudders* They just suck..
Otherwise, I don't think marines have any useless units. Some might take a little more planning to make them fit into your army, so I think it depends more on how you use them if they're gonna suck. Example: foot-slogging or deep-striking assault termies, tooled-out characters against IG etc.

How about the techmarine? its servitors don't compare to a devastator squad, its stats are nothing better than a normal marine, its combat ahbilities, even with the extra weapons, aren't that great, and the only way to get him to make decent repairs is to spend loads of points on that. Which makes its servitors even worse.
The only value of this unit is the re-rolls it grants...

I'm not playing Blood Angels, but it seems to me that cc scouts with furious charge and a pfist serg is a really good choise.. If they only work as cannon fodder, that's fine too beacause it means your opponent won't be shooting as much on your death company or assault squads..
About the tech-marine, give him a full servo harness, a bike, a bolt pistol and an inv save. Stick him in a bike squad and he can do major damage. This is a bit pricey though, so remember to keep your cost down in the rest of your list. Another thing is to kepp him as he comes and put him in a shooty squad to give them a re-roll and some extra punch if the squad gets assaulted.

veterans are not useless they can be very usefull and deadly.the most useless are sertanly scout bikes
I'd say Techmarine... how many vehicles can he possibly have the chance to repair over 6 turns? One if he's lucky... :sleep:

Scouts with bolters are by far the most useless unit. They are made to sit in the trees and shoot people with snipes and heavy bolters or get an early charge in.
