What i was wondering is. Are the Sisters of Battle, Games Workshops new idea on getting more female players into 40K?

And is there any female 40K players out there?

    Always wondered thats all.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'new' idea... The Sisters of Battle have been around since 1st edition of 40K...

And just for the record, I have played against three SoB players in my time and none of them have been female.

Yes, there are women who play 40k. Maybe not in large number, but I stumbled across a fair few (mainly on forums though).

And as Bobahat said, SoB aren't quite new.

    Ummmm....maybe....who knows

I think one of the main reasons the sisters were created was to get female players in, but i think nowadays they are turnning out to be a lot more than that.

Let's see. Of the female players I know that come round more or less regularly, one plays chaos (slanesh), another plays chaos (khorn), and the other plays necrons. At tournaments I've been to, I do recall one woman playing Sisters. Just because the SOB are women, it doesn't mean that they're GW's attempt to get women to play.

I am with Blue Meanie on this one, it is not just sexist it is niave to think that SoB are there to attract females to the game, and GW are not niave
