I started Warhammer back with 2nd ed IG and paused for some time. For 1,5 years now I'm back with IG and just recently after having painted nearly 2500 points I switched over to allies (first DH/GK, now WH).
As an avid IG player I try to evolve a WH army with lots of IST and inducted IG. And therefore I came up with an idea fora new support vehicle. As usual with my ideas it needs finetuning, as I am mostly a painter/converter and play only randomly. That is I played four times in the last 1,5 years.
But back to topic:
I envisioned a IST gunship in a typically inquisition fashion armed with flaming firepower. My idea was some kind of flame gatling working ruleswise in the same way as the inferno cannon of the Hellhound tank, perhaps even twin linked (or two of them).
That's all I have for you to talk about and give advice.
Thanks for everything!
Maybe base it on the Vulture? Would be really cool. Could you maybe get your hands on the VDR (Veichle Design Rules)? Basicly you create your own veichles with it.
I did see those in WD (forgot the number) - they seem to be fairly easy to use and have probably all that you need... I was also thinking about devising something in line with SM Dread, but moslty focused on long-range firepower - mayeb HeavyBolters or something to deal with enemy Rhinos at a distance (probably multi-melta weapon). I guess Karamazov, but with half the price and no special items, pure stats and no abilities...
Are such creations "GW-store-gaming-legal" though?
PS. Do not forget though that WH are limited to use only what the Emperium mandates. Hence no starships and only light armor units (think crowd-control type stuff).

If you get the permission of your opponent, then yes. They are not legal in tourneys though.Originally Posted by SmokWawelski
You know what you could do - a dread with body of our beloved Seraphim in it - Ephereal Stern. There was a topic on it here. Could be interesting...
