In Codex: Space wolves. It says that dreadnoughts are aciant and stuff.. And that one saw the emporer before he was half killed. And then it says Crew: 1 Space wolf. Doe they mean like the essence of a space wolf that they saved and out into the dreadnought? Or do they mean the dreadnought itself saw it happen?
Dreadnoughts are extremely ancient Space Wolves that were mortally wounded in combat. Rather than let the ancient Space Wolf go to waste, they put him into a Dreadnought which will give him better life support systems and heavier weaponry. Venerable Dreadnoughts are ancient Dreadnoughts. So it would be the mortally wounded Space Wolf that saw the Emperor. I have SWs myself and that's how i interpreted it.
yeah that would be correct. It would be like if someone today was so important that society felt that the person needed to stay alive to further serve a nation, much like good ol saddam. Therefore, they put the person on extreme life support, but in this case the life support is the mechanical dreadnought, and it has big gunz.
by the way... please dont kill me or anything, the saddam thing was meant to be a joke.
but how would you incorperate the homless guy beard on a dreadnought?
if bjorn the fell handed was alive for the heresy, wouldn't he know who the two missing legions are?
food for thought
