Just battled a Eldar play with my Dark Angels army. He had Baharroth in the army and he just owned me. <_<
So, how can a Dark Angels or any space marine player take Baharroth out.
He had joined a Swooping Hawk squad and could not be singles out. And when the time came that the Swooping Hawk unit might get targeted he left them and hide behind the Swooping Hawk unit. Very good move.
Any help/ideas/stores that deal with Baharroth would really help out for any future battles involving Baharroth.
Very sound advice, Mike.
Quick! Wile 'es ded!
Just keep in mind not to lose sight of the overall battle because then Baharroth would of suceeded in his job. His Swooping Hawk bodyguards are easy to take out with bolter shots. Because they are pretty mobile just take a couple of landspeeder tornadoes and follow them around. Should work a treat
Ultramarines Second Company
Mainly shooting. Throw a lot of firepower at the unit, and it will eventually fall.
In close combat, anything with a higher iniative and power weapon will take care of it because it has no invulnerable save.
Did he also have that totally broken swooping hawk exarch power?
He has to get into combat to be scary. To do this he can either deep strike or fly at you. If he Flies, a 10 man squad with hidden powerfist can deal with that invulnerable save less creep. In combat sustained Assault is nasty, but over rated.
The worst Phoenix Lord is Asurmen, 6+ to hit 3+ inv, -1 Attack. I saw him go toe to toe with 2 Carnifices for an entire game.
Every time you read this sig: a fairie dies!
If it deepstrikes, then that means it won't be able to assault you the same turn. If he does deep strike down, then either try to avoid it so he can't assault you the next turn, or try to shoot them down.
