Improving Catachans (bleh)
Steel Legion/Death Korps
Storm Troopers (Harakoni)
What, in your humble opinions, should be on GW's agenda for IG rather
than this metal Vostroyans BS? I think we need more regiments (duh), as
the SM and Chaos have specialized models for many regiments in plastic
or as metal kits to modify their plastic models. I vote for improving
the P.O.S. Catachan parts, but I'm so biased. :shifty:
I'd also like opinions on whether they should incorporate female
models. I vote for this, as Eldar and Dark Eldar have this option, and
those Catachan grenade models are the only option for me without
greenstuff. I'm not being some sort of PC police; I just think it is a
nice modeling idea, and many other companies have female models
incorporated into their ranges, which makes me inclined to buy their
models instead (I hope you heard that GW!).
Female models would be great. Attaching Sisters of Battle to a mostly IG army just isn't sufficient... and there's one Tanith Ghost mini that's female? Bleh.
I'd love for there to be another set of plastic guard minis. I like the look of the Steel Legion/Death Corps, and I also really like the Mordians... but since I could only choose one, I chose the Steel Legion. Their looks just fit so well with the tanks...
Oh, maybe I should have picked the Vahallans. I think the Soviet motif is great with the Chimera APCs...
Valhallans without hesitation. The Valhallans are like Russian, and the Russians are the antithesis of IG, so...
Imagine what you could do with three sets of plastic IG. We should also get another one. The more conversions the better,
Three Companies of the 26th Vinancium
143rd Airborne Badgers (99.9% done)
159th Corsair Rifles (35% done))
69th Armored Wall Busters (95% done)
Total 197 men, 12 tanks, 4 Heavy Artillery Pieces
A good source for conversions is battlewagon-bits.com. They sell all sorts of bits. If you really wanted to do Mordian, for example, you could buy a lot of Tank Commanders, Cadian Legs, and lasguns, plus whatever other suited your fancy. I'm going to make commissars that way- tank commander bits and High Elf Archer legs with L.O.D. guns and some nasty close combat items. If battlewagon-bits.com expanded their ranges that they sell, you could potentially make any regiment you could think of with minimal green stuff and money (the way I was originally going to get peaked cap heads was to order 5 tank accessory sprues; this way it costs me a couple American greenbacks ). But, yes, as I said, if GW made more plastics, we'd have an easier time of it too.
Are they?!and the Russians are the antithesis of IG, so...
I'd have thought that Russians are the real life IG. sending hordes of men to their deaths, and always having more.
They're the only army in WW2 to use Comissars, and IG have them, too.
Anyway, I think they should make plastic Rough Riders. I love the idea, and love the fluff, but the models look really poor, and converting my own is not only expensive, but very difficult.
Plastic Rough Riders ftw!
Valhallans, so that I can convert models into Commissar Ciphias Cain and Jurgen.
Hm... may have to do that anyway...
and then i could use Vostroyans as Harden Vets!
Tanith all the way, I mean we only have about nine models, almost all of which are metal... So please GW make Tanith the next plastic range you work on!!!
We need the Tanith First and Last and Only!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll be damned before the soldiers of the Emperor are just left to rot!
Last words of Colonel Densit from the Rahaxin 19th
"DISS NOT THE EMPEROR'S POINTED STICK, HERETIC!"
If it doesn't work with the Emperor. Then it's been officially Karmooned!!!
BEWARE THE POWER OF THE LIGHT-BRIGHT!
