If i buy, say, tanks hunetrs for the 2 lascannons in my command squad, do i have to pay for the whole squad, or just the specifec models?
Space Marines are the gateway drug
If everyone makes fun of West Virginia, who does West Virginia make fun of?
For the entire squad.
EDIT: Im not a fan of shooty command squads...because you are not using them to their full potential. Think of that Close Combat power.

The rule book doesnt clearly state if it is for the unit or individuals but,
I would say it is for the unit as:
1: It is "Tank Hunters" therefore If taken literally, the whole unit would 'hunt' tanks, as opposed to two members of the unit who cannot seperate themselves from the rest of the unit.
2: The "automatically pass morale caused by tank shock" benefit would not be a benefit unless the rest of the unit had it.
One is not to question why, but to do and die.

Yes you buy skills for entire units unless otherwise stated.
Mentor of Space Marine Commanders far and wide.
Efficiency VS Point Cost VS Ease Of Use - Your best bets:
1) Chaplain led Assault squad - 2 plasma pistols, powerfisted sergeant
2) 8 man Devastator squad - 4 missile launchers
3) Land Speeder Tornado - HB + AC
As all said, and this is applicable to ALL squads that can buy any kind of skill;
You have to buy it for EVERY MODEL in the squad. So unless the unit states otherwise, it's going to cost you a lot of points for just one or two guns...
