Hey guys. i'm kind of new to wichhunters and i was looking into and all GK's list and i was wondering if it would hold up in a tournament? Are GK's alone, tough enough to handle any single army? thanks for the input guys, hope to hear some good reasponses.:ninja:
grey knights? u should be in the daemon hunter section.... but no they cannot, GK's lack anti tank, so if u add in some dreads w/ lascannons and missile launchers then we're talking
2000pts Orks 4-2-1
You will report to the DemonHunter Section.
Short answer: Not the most competitive tournament army.
The dreadnoughts count as Grey Knight dreadnoughts. You can't take dreads unless you have a Grey Knight Hero as your HQ choice, so in that respect the GKs do just fine for anti-armour ^^ Also the GK special weapons can hurt Chimeras badly if they get behind or to the side of them, they're not so bad against Rhinos and anything with AC11 or worse.Originally Posted by gen.nehring
Maniac, have a look at the Daemonhunters army lists forum, there are tonnes of GK-Only army lists in there to give you ideas; the main thing to remember is that Grey Knights are expensive points-wise and a GK-Only list requires a lot of tactical nouse to work effectively, and even then they're still not as good as they could be against some lists (anything with a lot of armour will give you problems). If I were you I'd try putting together a Daemonhunters list using the entire Codex and including Grey Knights, then running that for a while before you try and make an exclusively Grey Knight list. This allows you to get a feel for what each of the GK units does and how it plays, which really you need before you go GK-Only.
sorry about the mispost guys. but i really appreciate the input, helps a lot.
you mean the worst.Originally Posted by Red Zinfandel
