After my MM debacle, and reading several threads here, I'm in a quandary:
1) Exorcists are harder to come by, per several posts at the end of last year (limited run model) - so if I get them, might as well get 2 while i can.
2) Several posts recommend 2 Exorcists or none at all
3) Inferno pistols on jumpy Canoness/Seraphim are noted as good anti-tank
4) Exorcist is usually very high or very low on recommended lists
- direct order from GW for 2 Exorcists (free shipping!)
- retooling and adding to my existing 5 Seraphim
- something completely different
I would prefer not to go the Immolator/Whirlwind launcher route, but it's always an option for a replacement Exorcist.
So the Question: to buy the Exorcist or not?
(current models: 3 squads Sisters, 1 box Seraphim, 1 Immolator, Canoness, 3 MM)

2000pts Orks 4-2-1
I agree. You can never go wrong with the Organ of random Missile-launching. Buy 2, it's up to you if you want the real organmodell or if you want to convert.

Well here's reasons why you should buy an Exorcist:
+ Front armor that's quite sturdy
+ Has the long-range anti-tank capabilty (since WH can't get lascannons)
+ Fires up to 6 Krak missiles
+ Your opponent will get nervous and try to take them out
+ Makes getting first turn fun
+ Relatively cheap for what it does
+ Another vehicle in a mechanized list
Inferno pistols are OK, they can be good if you're lucky, seraphim get TL'd ones, not worth it on the canoness IMO.
5 Tactical Squad Marines
Just repeating what you heard above here, get 2. One is just a heavy weapon magnet, two with move and shoot (anywhere from 1 to 6 missiles) abilities they will earn there points back, if they flank a unit of Rets (personally i always do this in games of 1000 pts and up) thats a pretty solid heavy formation that is really annoying to break (considering the acts the Rets can use). Hope that helps
Exorcists are the only ctredible turn 1 anti tank option for sisters
they should remain available from direct sales, Forgeworld is another option as is converting your own
Everything you have been told is a lie!
Order going in today. Thanks everyone!
Talked with Direct Services, and they advised that the Exorcist will be coming back out. Currently it is being shipped as an Immolator box plus a blister with all the metal bitz to make up the Exorcist, but since it isn't a "boxed set", it isn't available in stores yet. They didn't want to confuse people with the way it is packaged. No other details than that, unfortunately.

You forgat one, it lookes AWSOME, that was bout the reason why I bought it in the first time, not for the long range firepower, though the though of a d6 krak missiles with improved AP did apeal to me.Originally Posted by IATFP
And for the pistols, I ALWAYS use one on the canoness unless we0re palynig like 500 points, and it has NEVER failed me so far. And the seraph's with them own as well, though it can be fun to go all flamers sometimes.

SentryKiller - The Exorcist was an Immolator with metal bitz sealed in separate (but inside the main box) package all the time. Did they run out of boxes? It iis comming out again as same model? Strange.... Do you know when?
