What powers would be the best to take? It is so hard to choose just one (or two)!
On that note as well, can an epistolary only pay for the first cost of one power and have the second be Storm of the Emperors Wrath? Or must he pay the second cost?

depends on the role
I use a jump packing libarian with an assault squad so i ussally go with fury of the ancients (for sniping and pinning enemies in place) and veil of time (obivious reasons).
"Heresy is like a garden weed, it won't stop feeding until you... BURN THE WHOLE DAMN GARDEN WITH A FLAMER, BURN IT, BURN IT TO HELL!!!!!" "Is there a wittle puppy in the garden? ITS A DAEMON! BURN IT!"
i use a librarian with terminator armor and attach him with 5 terminators with lighting claws. i give him might of heros and veil of time. and for a added kick throw in a familiar. i have not lost him in close combat yet, as a matter of fact just yesterday he was in a group and lost all the terms before they got into close combat(poor saves on my part) but still made and ran one unti off the table and killed another by himself with this combo.
I use an epistolary with fury of the ancients and a small command squad with 2 lascannons. Good for pinning untis and going after high toughness untis and tanks
Space Marines are the gateway drug
If everyone makes fun of West Virginia, who does West Virginia make fun of?
Very recently, I ran a Librarian in Terminator armour by himself vs Dark Eldar. I think it was 1000 pts. I took Fury of the Ancients and kept Storm of the Emperor's wrath. At one point there were two 10 man squads of DE warriors in perfect line, hit them with the fury pinned the far unit and killed a couple in each, assaulted the front unit and murdered all of them between my assault and his subsequent turn. on my turn I hit the rear squad with storm and assaulted again. Same result. It was so fun... slaughtered 2 squads in 2 turns with a lone librarian (yes good rolling accounted for a lot of this).
(edit - I still stick by taking these two powers though, it worked out very well)
I also have a Librarian w/jump pack and another in terminator armor.
The jump pack librarian has Fury of the Ancients and Might of Heroes. My assualt
veteran sargeant has lightning claws.
My librarian in terminator armor has a command squad and deep strikes into
battle. I've given him Fear of the Darkness.
