can landraider crusader carry 15 assault jump pack marines?
Jump infantry may not be loaded in a transport.
Backing that statement up here. You can however remove the jump-packs and load them on later, I believe.

Mr_Wayne: "Some people believe that the World Eaters do not field any ranged weaponry. Those people often die at a distance."
thatĀ“s correct but why would you put assault marines with jump packs in a land raider. It reduces you effective range and when exploded your marines are entangaled which mean that your assault marines lose there combat effectiveness.Originally Posted by ze_poodle

Jump Infantry are really best left to do their own thing. This means letting them zoom around the tabletop with their jump packs, as that's what they're meant to do. With a little bit of planning and forethought, you can keep them sheltered and out of harm's way right up until it's too late for your opponent.
If you're still desperate to keep them protected, you can load something else in the LRC, then just keep the Assault squad nestled up tight to the back of the tank. They're out of sight or at least counting a cover save, and that cover's still got that rockin' AV14. Run the squad in the cover of the tank as long as you like, then simply move them away to make their attack.
EDIT: Oh, and while the Assault squad can remove the jump packs, they cannot simply put them back on. It's a choice made during unit selection, it makes them cheaper, and it basically means that the squad left the packs back at the fortress-monastery - they're footslogging it from turn 1.
If you by them w/o jump packs.Originally Posted by ze_poodle
but if the have the packs, they are classed as jump troops, and thus can't use transports, ala bgb p 62, under who can use transports.
