If you are moving with a landspeeder/bike and move past the unit you want to shoot at, how do you turn and shoot at it?
I'm not sure I follow your question. BGB pg 61 says turning has no penalty during the movement phase. So you could zoom forward then turn a 360 on the spot at no cost.Originally Posted by Torro

Bikes are basically 'man' models (infantry, though a special type of infantry), and thus have a 360 degree 'front arc' if you will. They can draw line of sight from the center of their base going in any direction, and the direction they're facing doesn't affect how enemies fire at them at all. In short, how you 'turn' them doesn't matter.
Land speeders are vehicles, and all of their guns are fixed-forward. They have to be pointing at what you want them to shoot, basically. In actuality, they have a 'front firing arc' which you can define by drawing imaginary diagonal lines from it's back left corner to its front right corner and from it's back right corner to its front left corner (here we're talking about the extreme corners of the vehicle's body) These lines create a wedge of space in between them which extends out in front of the vehicle, and the speeder can target anything within that wedge with its guns. This is explained in greater detail on page 65 of the BGB.
In addition, vehicles can adopt any facing after they move. Simply move them and then rotate them to face whatever direction you want. Note, however, that when measuring distance, measure from the point of the model which is furthest in the direction you want it to move. for landspeeders, 24 inches from that spot on the model is the furthest any part of it can go. You can't rotate the landspeeder so that any part of it is beyond 24" from where that point on the model was before it moved.
Finally, since landspeeders have armour 10 all the way around, their facing doesn't really affect enemy models' shooting.
Bikes you can turn however you want and it won't affect them at all.
Landspeeders you move and then rotate to point at what you want them to shoot.
Turning is for free for vehicles only. But this is another reason why the best things in life are for free.
luckily, guys can shoot in any direction, so they never have to turn...
But I wouldn't recommend turning 360 degrees, as you would be facing the same direction you started from, as if you had taken no turn at all. This would be rather pointless and silly looking in a game.Originally Posted by magnet_man
