Odd question from me but anyways...
This has been nagging my brain for awhile now; Just what is the Black Rage and how does it work.
The black rage is a special rule/drawback that the blood angels and blood angel succesor chapters get. It is a genetic defect that was originally brought about during the death screams of Sangiunius as he was choked to death by Horus.
What it does is makes a battle-brother of the BA gene stock go insane to a degree. They believe they are Sangiunius battle his way to Horus on his battlebarge, seeing all of their enemies as Horus, daemons within the ship, or the sons of horus. These are the marines who are inducted into the death company so commonly assosciated with the BA. When a marine falls to the black rage, there is supposedly no coming back; however there are a rare few who have proved this wrong, such as Mephiston...
Take my love, take my land, take me to where I cannot stand; I don't care I'm still free, you can't take the sky from me.
