I was just wondering what people's responses here would be. I told a fellow IG player once that I would rather play Tyranids than anything else and he responded that Nids always destroyed him and that Eldar were the easiest for him to kill. This got me to wondering what everyone ELSES easiest army was.
My personal choice here is Tyranids. I've never lost a battle to Tyranids with my IG and If I really want to win a game, I find a Nid player and challenge him to destroy my army. If I'm looking for a challenge, though, I go to the DH players. They give me so much trouble it isn't funny.

I said Space Marines. I've always had problems with marines, ever since my Eldar days, however since playing IG, i've never lost ( to any army for that matter ). The Basilisk and Leman Russ, auto kill, and ignore the 3+ armour save, which means in addition to mass killing, the SM player takes the 2+ armour upgrade, which is 20 pts I believe ( lascannon time ). SM vehicals are a joke against my army. Even a Land Raider can't stand up to a basilisking ( 2d6 for ordance ). Heck even my Chimera kills off SM vehicals. IG also have the numbers to almost ignore the 3+ save. So many lasgun shots ( in addition having the sharpshooter doctrine ), that the Sm fail some. My most hated unit of all the landspeeder ( assault cannon, heavy bolter variant ) is no match for my mass heavy weapons in squads that its trying to kill ( which includes 2 HB, 3 ML, 2 LC, not to mention the special weapons plasmagun ect. ). I always thought that if you just had 6, 5 man tac squads with a ML in each you could beat anybody...I was wrong...IG rule !

'Nids were a bit of a pain in the ass to play, untill I got a DH Grand Master with Holocaust The main problem for 'Nid players is they have low toughness which means I can intant kill those Warriors

I am going to have to agree with 311 with this that space marines are probably the easiest army to beat. I have a leman russ and basklisk to deal with the 3+ stuff while my demolisher takes out termies.

Hmm orks. You can always count onthere shooting to miss. Take out there weak buggies and they have to walk which means lasguns will blaze and kill many greenskins. Oh and the Lemun Russ takes a squad of 30 or so in one shot. Pretty sweet.
