As of the end of the week this is my army.
4Terminators and a Brother Captain
6 PAGK and Justicar
9Troops and 1 Veteran
NOw all I have to do is paint them all so I can play.
Well, get some special weps and another squad of grey knights. You should really have one GM and then a retinue, as well as a dread becasue right now you have NO anti-tank!
The gold grey knight man. These are hardy men who like cheese.
Ever thought of how cheese was found?:
`` I say sah, the milk in this barrel smells foul!``
``Oooohhh, give it a go!``
''Quack, damn you!''

i agree Dh has alot of problems with armour. Chill out with that many termies early. I love grand master though and always take him no matter what point cost. Although its not the smartest things to do at times. But hey, warhammer is a fun game so i treat it like one. Ya man u got alot of termies now, but just use a brother captain or grand master and retinue for now until you get into alot bigger battles. Oh ya give ur guard poeple plasmas or somethin. cut them down to 4 guys and one sarge and u can get more plasma. muhahahahahah
The plan is to give the IST Plasma guns. I think the Army as it stands is 888pts. I just am not shure how the war gear points effect the over all points for the army.
If you're looking for advice on your army list, there's a Deamonhunters Army Lists subforum. (The link is directly above this discussion forum.)
That said, it would help to know the target size of your army (e.g., 500 pt, 750 pt, 1000 pt, whatever). As it stands, your "888 pts" could be easily beaten by a number of 500 pt armies. You are relying far too much on your expensive terminators and have too few troops to do anything useful. Also, you have zero heavy weapons. A single tank, transport, dreadnought, or monstrous creature could cause a lot of problems for you. Drop the Elite terminators and replace with GKs and a dreadnought! The ISTs in particular must have special weapons or they can and will be safely ignored by just about everything. Footslogging ISTs should have 2x plasma guns or 2x grenade launchers.
ninjabackhand: point and click, again, really? even after i give you an military term "shock tactic" you still call it point and click.

I am not really go for points but modles to make an army that is "X" points. So I am going to mahe the army list like in the book. 2 HQs, 3 Elites, 6 Troops , 3 Fast Attack, and 3 Heavy support. My PAGK will run between 8 and 10 men, along with the Fast Attack. My IST will be 10 units with 2 plasma guns. I might get 2 dreadnoughts, 1 LRC, and make a Purgation Squad. Not sure about Inquistor/Lord and assassains. I know this will take awhile to collect. I have no problem with that.
Sounds reasonable - actually, about what I intend to end up with, enough models to give me some options for different army lists.
Just make sure you start out with sets you can play with early on, without being too top-heavy (i.e. dont get 2 HQs, all 3 elites, and only then fill out more than the two troop choices).
Thats how I plan on going about it Miril. Yesterday I went to my hobby store to get some dice and they told me that the Kasrkin are OOP. So I ordered another box of PAGK and a blister PAGK with psycannon. So now my Toops will be Squad 1 a 7 man team and Squad 2 a 6 man team.
