To the best of my knowledge its some kind of vaugeness like "mostly GW model as base" or some such.
I've never done much in the past but starting to get an itching to be more creative now.
depends where you play. some stores don't care, some do. i don't think Games Day will let you fly though..... ask your opponents/gaming store.
Generally this varies from tournament to tournament. I suggest you contact the people who're holding whatever tournament you're thinking of going to.
They have to be GW models for the most part. They have to be WYSIWYG. They must comply to the size and basing rules.
It's worth a krak!

Mostly this is for potential vets/conscripts or RRs or the abhumans
gereally that would be fine, look at the abhuman - alfric (sp) strain - that is exactly what they advocateOriginally Posted by socprof

Everything you have been told is a lie!
Generally you can convert models all you want as long as you conform to a couple of base rules such as:
A) Models have to consist mostly of GW parts. Also in line with this rule, is the assumption that you won't go using parts from another game line such as Warmachine or VOID on your models.
The unit/vehicle that you are converting can actually use the equipment that you are representing them with.
Yeah I don't plan on doing anything silly like puting a sent on two small bases or anything.
I appreciate the responses. It helps to know the general guidelines.
what if i put my HW teams on 2 small bases not just the one big one, a guy once smirked at me and was like "nice try, but thats illegal". i told hom no, pointing out the size of older HW teams, most of which had NO base. But he sneered back as if i was some idiot and he knew it all and replied "yeah well your still wrong, its what it comes in the box".
Not being able to reason with this jerk, i promply punched him in the throat.
