Hi guys, I don't play witchhunters but I have a few questions about Faith Points.
Can a unit of sisters grab the invulnerable save during shooting and then in the assault phase as well?
If you fail the roll to get the invulnerable save, can you immediately try again by spending another faith point?
Thanks alot guys!
Checked the codex. You can attempt to use any particular Act of Faith once per phase, yours or the enemy's. So it would be perfectly possible to attempt to use say SotM at the start of the enemy shooting phase and then again at the start of the assault phase. These are attempts however. If you fail you cannot spend another faith point and try again that phase, no serial faith testing. If you failed the SotM test in the shooting phase however there would be nothing stopping you from attempting it again in the assault phase, as that is the next phase.
Since it has been asked elsewhere an Imagifer will give you an extra dice roll on one faith test per player turn. So you could use it on a test in your turn, and then again in the enemy's turn, but you couldn't use it for say SotM'ing in both the enemy shooting and assault phases, you'd have to use it in one or the other.
