Is it just me or is the number of squads per platoon wrong in the IG codex? If you look at the Cadian 8th display page, they show 6 squads per platoon, and 5 feels such an odd number anyways.
Yes, after looking the 8th cadian display i found clearly written " two to six squads of ten men each" Army list instead says two to five. So, who is right ?
You're talking to someone who would happily use gills, quarts, rods, poles, perches and chains as units of measurement. The metric system is a diabolical European invention.Originally Posted by Gandhi
And that's an interesting one Hermann, might have to ask the Rules Boyz and see how many answers I get...
The answer is there can be 6 squads in a platoon assuming you count the HQ squad as a squad or each Armored fist squad as a line squad. Other than that yeah each platoon can only have 5 10 man Line squads.
It could be talking about a remenants squad, we can have five full squads and one of them right?
... only triumph could turn pooing his pants into a good thing..
1. The codex says that its five squads per platoon. So, that is legal.
2. I love the metric system, it makes much more sense than anything else, and I'm an American!
"When one man dies it is a tragedy. When thousands die its a statistic."
The metric system makes more logical sense (though I will never understand the British use of "stones"), but we're Americans, damnit! When have we ever let a thing like logic or sensibility interfere with our doings?
"I would listen to Sokhar. The man's a genius. Listen."~Lord Yossanrion"Thanks, Sokhar. There was some legitimately good advice in between the low-grade profanity, blaspheming and veiled insults."~Quick"Well thought, intelligently put, with a hint of sarcastic bastard!"~Diggum's Hammer
So is the pencil, the calculator, the motorcar, the telescope, the printing press, psychoanalysis and germ theory.. go rail against them. :tongue:Originally Posted by Xerxes
The army says 5.. Doesn't matter what anything else says, it's likely I typo or a remenant from a previous draft which wasn't properly corrected.
