So, we all remember the French website having directions for a -damn- nice looking drop pod. We all also remember that site going away, and I know that I for one never got around to saving the templates and instructions so that I could peruse them later. Well, we have a second chance. Sortof.
There's a section of the German website that has some nice drop pod instructions. It's not as pretty as the French, but the doors work which is kinda cool. I'm going to take a guess that if the French link was acceptable, the German should be as well (although I admit to not knowing international copyright laws and treaties.) Please, feel free to quash this if it's a no-no this time for some reason.
The link, complete with Google translation goodness:
If someone's already posted this I apologize. I'm not keeping up lately, so I may have missed this being posted. And, yes, I did steal this link from B&C. Just spreading the love.
You play your game, I'll play mine.
That's very useful. Thanks for the post.
Thanks for the link (missed the French one - it was taken down too quick). BTW why was the french version 'prettier'??

Hey, since it's on a GW site, I guess it's okay for now.
There seem to be a lot of legal issues with this kind of stuff though, which is probably why whoever did the french site got slapped for it.
I'm guessing the prettiness is half the problem. If it looks too much like the forgeworld stuff, whose going to buy the forgeworld models?

GW SHOULD be supplying patterns like this. Most people aren't buying forgeworld stuff anyway. They just paint an upside down plastic cup or some such. Ugh. With a bolter glued on top...
