    Dreadnought Lascannon arm

Ok, so I'm making a space wolves-esque SM chapter with traits and I'm planning on putting a venerable dread in. So the obvious choice is the space wolves dreadnought model, unfortunately I was told that it only comes with an assault cannon (if this isn't so please tell me now).

If that's the case then I'm going to need a lascannon arm (I really want that awesome looking claw). So what would be the easiest way to get it? I looked at the GW online store (oz) but it didn't list the parts so I couldn't get a product number or anything.

Can anyone tell me an easy way to get my hands on one?

Classic Dark Angels dreadnaught lascannon component is your freind. Either that or you order the "bits" from the SW dready, and stick them on a plastic dread.

i can think of either Forgeworld, Ebay, gw online store or bw-bits.com
all of them have the parts or sprues available.

Or you buy the standard sm dreadnought and convert it by hanging wolf pelts and such on it.

I still can't believe for the price of the new ven dread it doesn't come with the weapon options that a normal dread does... For dreads I think Forgeworld is the way to go, both for arms and bodies...

    Thanks for the replies people.

Seems like I'll be buying the space wolf ven dread and then a forgeworld Lascannon arm. I'd just get the normal GW plastic dread and cover it in wolf pelts like a couple of you suggested, but as I said, I really want that claw.
