I have 17 built Space Marines. Several are stripped and reassembled and some are Mk1, Mk2. I also have some Neophytes ready for paint. Maybe this week I will get them in primer.
I also just got an Ultra Marine with the bionic leg it came in a 2 model blister in metal. I thought it was a deal at $10. I am carving off the Ultra stuff to make ready for them to be Black Templar.
Some of these models have weapons in both hands. I am not sure they can be used but they sure look good.
I have been held up on painting due to the weather. I have to paint outside.
That's cool and all, but... is there a question or something that you're asking? Did I miss something, or..?
Woo hoo, random rambling.
Yeah, as Firedrake28 said, is there a point? What's up?
Maybe you should put this in your LO journal, btw the ultramarines you got are tyrannic war veterans.

The point is that I am happy to have progressed this far and thought that you all would share in my happiness. As to random rambling, that is how some events happen.Originally Posted by Dark_Angels_Master
Oh, well, Okay. But if you want to express your feelings without spamming up the forum, I suggest using your journal.Originally Posted by voodoo101
Sorry to sound mean, but... only 17? How long have you been at it? I paint that many in a single sitting and it takes me no time (90 minutes). Try being imp lice, the second most vehicled-up team there is. That's a team to be proud of completing 17models of, lord knws, at LEAST 2 of them would be tanks!
*wanders off to mutter about the number 17*
Post your army lists in the ARMY LIST section! Not that hard!
I have been at it for maybe a couple of weeks. This is along with my other models that I am currently building. My intent was not to spam this forum.
Before I started posting I scanned to see if it was a friendly site. I think it still is. Though the flavor of the responses I got is not good.
I don't want to start or be part of any arguements or otherwise bad things.
So, while this is a great place for info and other things I won't post on this site anymore.
Now, now. No need to be like that. Its great that you found the place and are contributing. It was just different how you started. At least, you're posting, unlike some other people who join up and then sit on the sidelines.
No need to get all depressed. Just take some time and peruse. Once you find and establish yourself in a niche, then things will work out better.
Looking forward to some more posts.
This is a very friendly site and for the most part, very supportive. I am somewhat new to it as well and have found it to most informative and balanced. I too was quite shocked by some of the responses you got, as they are quite out of character for most contributors on this site.Originally Posted by voodoo101
As far as I am concerned, getting 17 models done is great. You are on your way to a playable force, and you are already enjoying one of my favorite parts about this hobby, the modeling. Keep it up! You are also scratching the surface on the best part about 40K, the community! Please don't be discouraged! When you have a question or a conundrum in your game, you could not find a better site for competent, well-thought-out help.
Once a Marine, always a Marine.
