    mortis dreds

    i am thinking about geting one.

    if i do, should it have
    two twinlinked heavy bolders
    or
    two twinkinked autocannons

    my armylist will be suplied if needed

    waiting for the sunrise!

    heavy bolters are generally better than autocannons, but in this case the list would indeed be nice.

    Do a set of both with magnets. Then depending on your mood, or expected foe, you can switch em out. Good Luck, BoS.

    I've got to agree with BOS, magnatize those puppies. That model is very expensive (Damn FW prices), so get the most bang for your buck. IMHO the only time I'm giving up my DCCW is for anti tank, and so I'd go the AC then. But since a TLLC and missle combo is much better at tank busting then I'd say forgo the Mortis entirely. So with all that said, why the Mortis pattern in the first place?

    if you do it right you don't have to magnetize; buy both sets and just son't glue them on. That should work fine...

    doews the mortis pattern range ofweapons fit on the Venerable dreads, which are Mk4, not Mk5? need to know, because i plan to buy one from Blue Table Painting through their mass order.

    I think all the mortis is, is the guns to fit a normal dread.

    condenced list:

    HQ
    10 man HQ squad with 2 plasma cannons, apothicary, flag (yes I KNOW combat squads are better, this is fully!)

    TROUP:
    2 X 10 tac squad with plasma cannon, plasma gun, vet sergent with power wepon

    10 man tac squad wih melta gun and heavy bolter, vet sergent with power fist
    (will have another one at some point)

    FAST:
    10 man assault squad with 2 flamers, frag, vet sergent with power fist.

    HEAVY:
    10 man deistator squad with 2 missle launchers, 1 plasma cannon, 1 las cannon
    waiting for the sunrise!

    i would go for 2 Twin linked lascannons. will give your list some needed AV13 and 14 killers
