Would it be too 'over the top' to bring two chaplains, each with their own assault squad to lead?
Has anyone done this? I don't think there's a 0-1 restriction on them. How bad would be people scream at me? Just kicking around some ideas.

In fact, that's not uncommon at all for BT players.

Go for it.
Post your army lists in the ARMY LIST section! Not that hard!
While I personally don't use two chaplains, one of our regulars at our hobby store does. His "Crimson Wrath" Space Marines typically feature two full strength assault squads led by chaplains in higher point games. Very nasty. He calls them Quisinarticus and Vegematicius.
The only problem he's encountered is that his opponents tend to hurl as much fire power at them as possible, but that's to be expected. Good use of cover and the large squad size usually means enough of them get into combat to generally cause havoc. As a Blood Angel player, I don't believe I can have two separate squads led by chappies (think the two would just form one big mob of DC), but I'm fairly certain there is no such restriction for other Chapters.

"Wife! You are abusing that Leman Russ model!"
That sounds really nasty! I use a chaplain as well, but even two of them in bigger games... Muhahaha WORLD DOMINATION. Ups sorry for that, but I could not suppress ist

If your gonna field more then two assault squads, and thus two chaplains, youd be better off playing blood angles.
Blood angles get furious charge on anything with a WS, for free (except veterans)
Two chaplains basically gives you 10 death company, with 1 or 2 sgts, also joining, nothing can stand up to that squad in CC.
Anyway good Luck.
MAN!!! Two chaplains + full assault squads + Cities of Death. Now that there, is a couple of killy squads, although, on a similar topic, Epistolary Librarian with Might of Heroes, and Veil of Time + Chaplain + Full Assault Squad or Maybe even termy assault squad.
I've run two chaplains before, no problem, but I did not have them attached to an assault squad. I was very new at the time...Originally Posted by Otsego
