If my chaplain has frag nades and melta bombs, do i have to glue them to him in order to have it in a WYSIWYG game?
Technically yes. In practice, I have never had anyone question model WYSIWYG regarding grenades and meltabombs. What I do though, is just take one of the grenades off your sprue and glue it on.
If you decide to give him grenades or boms, something is modeled, you're safe. If you don't then it's OK too, he just looks cool.
i have had oponents say i can use Melta Bombs aginst his tanks because they are not displayed on his model, eveyone else in the store agreed with me in saying thats a little over the top for WYSIWYG... so it can depend on who you are playing but i am fairly relaxed with grenades.
I think most people except that grenades do not HAVE to be modelled onto a unit in order for them to be taken. So long as you let you opponent know that you have taken them, there shouldn't be any problem. Some people, however, will dislike this so it is always a good idea to stick those grenades onto the model "just in case".
Hope this helps
oh well, i already super glued them to the chappie and nearly glued some fingers together. thanks.
