I have just seen the new Chaos Possessed Models, and personally I think they look pathetic (as does everyone on the Chaos forum). And I think GW should have spent there money by doing new IG models
So what do you think needs to be re-done? Personally I think Ogryns and Rough Riders, as they look as though they have come straight out of Warhammer Fantasy (which they probably have).
Sorry to dampen your day, but their was a thread on this pretty recently......
But personally i would like to see the introduction of a plastic upgrade sprue set, a bit like the new black templar one..... They could do a hardened veteran one, a rough rider one (incl horse of course), and maybe a special weapons one. Just add cadians and your away!
Now i know this isnt going to happen (due to GW's apparent need to exploit us), but it would be nice.....
Inquistion force WIP. Pics on posts 17 and 23.
If they released some good looking rough riders I would immiediantly buy them and reconfigure my army to include them.
... only triumph could turn pooing his pants into a good thing..
Hands-down, ratlings. Those things can be great, but they are ugly really. If thye are revised, that would be great!
Now why should you be complaining when you can go out and convert your own models. I have converted my Rough Riders from Glade Riders. They look like Cadians on horses and have recieved a multitude of compliments from everyone at my FLGS.
We could wait for new rough rider models, which we all know will be some time, or you could go out and convert them and have models that noone else has.
Don't become a conversion complacent modeler!

Boyo's gotta point, if GW made everything then what fun would conversion be? Still it does turn alotta players off because conversions usually have a higher input of time and money and as a result, useful units see little play.
But as for the rough riders, it's the 41st millenium, I would like to think somewhere in the empire there's a better steed than a plain 'ol horse. That's why I like cold one cadians. It's a fun conversion and can look remarkably seemless.
Blais's Paint Studio-Getting broken armies good soft scores since 2009
I'd love to see some hardened veteran guys.
Chuck Norris wouldn't stand a chance against Tana Umaga.
Sorry that this had already been posted before
The thing with conversion is what Mastershake said; time and money. Another key factor for me is that I am **** at it.
Ratlings I think are OK, not great though. They make me think of little dwarves (as in the real people), which makes me like them.
And HV could be quite good, although those would be easier to convert from normal men than trying to make rough riders look good.
