This is a simple question which I'm sure all you IG veterans out there will be able to answer.
How many weapons come in the cadian box.
how many lasguns?
how many Grenade launchers?
how many flamers?
how many vox-units?
It would be great if you could help me out here since I want to have a lot og grenade launchers in my army and it would be terrible if the only place I could get them was one in each cadian box.
So lend me a hand, and part with a small bit of wisdom that I'm sure all of you possess.
Cadian box= 4 sprues
1 grenade launcher
6 lasguns (5 with arms, one loose)
and 1 laspistol/chainsword set of arms for a sergeant

Blais's Paint Studio-Getting broken armies good soft scores since 2009
so that means 4 grenade launchers in a pack. If so, that's fantastic.
thanks for sharing.
But only one grenade launcher in a squad mind you

Some players like puting 4 grenade launchers in there command squads so they can move where there Ld is needed and still put out some heavy firepower on the move, not so easy on the points but its a idea
"Hey sarge, this lasgun is heavy. I wish we had something lighter."

And then four in the command squad...Originally Posted by flakdragon

I've hurd of something similar to the 4 grenade launcher's in the command squad, which is the 4 flamers tactic, sort of a "quick response squad" running arounding dishing out some flaming death.
Works good for me, but im goin to try the 4 greanade lanucher's next game.
i think you should either shock command squads with special weapons or have at least two regular soldiers for first causualities. such as the loader of a heavy weapon :shifty:
but if you have 4 special weapons you can't take a standart, which i't always use.
and if the commandsquad is there for leadership, it doesn't need special weapons as they have a considerable short weapon range and you don't want the commandsquad to be whiped out by enemy fire or cc.
remember there are only 4 soldiers till the officer is the one to get punishment.
i have one platoon hq with 3 plasmaguns which i use as droptroops and the others don't have any special weapon. one has an autocannon (rather cheap and 48" range)
the four flamer idea is interesting, but I don't think that (gven the short range of flamers) unmounted troops could respond to anything quickly enough unless they were drop troops....which would make them something of a suicide squad.
