What Upgrades should i give my bassie and Demolisher?
Bassie=Indirect fire. Unless your playing on a huge table.
Though unnumbered lurking perils await us, our blades will ever be ready.
FOR WE ARE THE EMPEROR'S VENGEANCE!
Demolisher should be done, its already pretty tough with Front 14. Maybe smoke launchers for certain occasions?
I second the indirect fire upgrade.
Well for the Demolisher, and just about any other tank that will receive fire (including Chimera's), extra armor is a must have. Allowing a vehicle to move when it has been stunned can at least prevent your 170-point Russ from enduring another round of fire; if your opponent can stun you then he can destroy you. Getting into cover or towards an objective can win or loose a game, especially for a demolisher that only has a 24-inch range and by design will be in your opponent’s face. Not bad for five points, which is just a little more than my two cents ;-)
thx guys you rock

The Predator Lingers forth. Suddenly the sound of several wipping sounds can be heard far off into the distance, a second later the once mighty Predator ignited with flames. "Sir what was that" The srgt replied "Its those damn Broadsides"
Hear the wip, fear the Broadside.
Yeah, I think he got that one backwards, don't take it on a small table, always take it on a large one.
For the deomlisher, a hull heavy bolter, and some extra armor. If that's all you take it earns it's points back faster and you don't waste points on things you'll never use.

my demolishers (as every tank in my army) have extra armour and smokelaunchers.
oh, and 3 HBs.
i am considering to take rough terrain modifications too, as i like to deploy my tank at least 50% in cover (4+ glancing hit chance) and move them forward after some turns.
unfortunately, in my last game, 3 of 5 were immobilized, which pi***d me of really, as the opponent got 50% points for them.
The other nice thing about having three heavy bolters on your demolisher is that you can move to bring your demolisher cannon into range and still do some serious damage with your heavy bolters in the same turn
"you don't under stand, my empathy for you could fit in a match box, with the matches in it"
I only take Indirect on my Bassies (and if I have 3 extra pts, smoke).
Demolisher either three Heavy Bolters, EA, Smoke (offensive, cheaper) or Lascannon, Plasma Cannons and smoke (Defensive, but more expensive).
