While At work i was browsing the net and found a shocking tale. Ok So apparently there is this army called the United Legions that consist of Imperial Guard, Tau, Space Marines, Necrons, Eldar, and Tyranids. They want to unite the races and stop War. Well a fleet of them are near medusa on a planet, when Addodon attacks with about 750 billion marines, and corners the legion into a big cave. Just as the Choas are about the move in, the United Legion smiles and says these strange words, then all of a sudden a pair of big eye open up, and a terriable roar piarces their ears. and that when the **** hit the fan. This massive creature attacks the Choas and out of 750 billion marines only 6percent live including addodon. Heres the strange part. according to a choas spy, these creature is the leader.
There is a a picture of these creature charging the camera man, unfortantly the picture was take 1 second before the poor camera man gets pumpled so the shot is damged but from what i can guess it looks like a blue tyranid hirodule with imperial-made armor.
Guys....what the hell is going on in our many imperial worlds?
The idea of this sounds like the work of one particular member..
Where did you find this story Bladeweaver? Its most definately someones terrible attempt at making up fluff for their army.
Oh and the despoilers name is Abbadon not Addadon.

Wow, Sounds cool.
Sounds like a load of rubbish to me
Life is too serious to be taken seriously
i'm so confused...
Looks like the United Legions have the right idea as there must be more to live for then war
Kill this and burn that all the time, how about we put our lasguns down and fight our battles on a table top kind of game that way i dont need to die and you can go back to the warp in one piece
"Hey sarge, this lasgun is heavy. I wish we had something lighter."
FF7: ABOUT RANDOM BATTLES
this united legions idea sounds like the federation out of star trek and i must say it does sound cool but its not official as far as i can see and seems to be no more than fluff made up by one website.
Where there's a will there's a weapon
Gah, I'm willing to accept "different" fluff to a certain degree but this whole United Federation idea really doesn't make any sense when put in contrast with the rest of the background of Warhammer 40k. For starters Necrons only goal is to totally destroy all life in the universe; there's no reason why they wouldn't have turned on their *ahem* allies yet. Secondly Tyranids don't cooperate with other races, and even when they get out of control of the hive queen they turn even more aggresive, often turning upon themselves. The very goal of the Tyranids is to gather all organic matter, again making me wonder why they would team up with other fleshy organisms...
To some degree I could see Imperial Guard, Space Marines and Eldar teaming up (perhaps even Tau) but the other races just don't really fit in. And I don't believe if every single Chaos Space Marine gathered together there would be maybe a million yet alone 750 Billion. Originally I believe each legion consisted of around 10,000 so multiply that by 9 to get 90,000. Keep in mind many would have died, and some would have been recruited. All in all, 750 billion is a simply ridiculous number.
Perhaps if you toned things down a bit. A Tau force with a number of alien forces under it's control (humans, stronger aliens (representing SM), and perhaps more lithe aliens) are about to be defeated by a large Chaos force. Out of nowhere *giant monster beast/leader of death* comes and drives them away. This is believable, and you can use whatever models you want to represent Fire Warrior Squads, Kroot and Vespids to keep things within the realm of the Tau rules.
But whatever, do as you wish...
seriously bad idea to make up some fluff
thw whole idea of tyranids and necrons working with others is rubbish. i could see the other races including orks and possibly even dark eldar working together to an extent but tyranids are basically wild animals and necrons are robots with little need for negotiations or peace. the whole idea seems more than dodgy and should quite frankly be ignored as in the end its made up by some guy somewhere who has very little to do and by even suggesting tyranids and necrons working alongside other races would suggest that they know little about 40 fluffwise.
