Hey my friend and i were in a dupute today over some units. HE said that he Can use his ork gargantuan squiggoth is a heavy support choice...Can he use it in a normal game?
Well as far as I know it isn't in the Ork codex so I don't believe it to be a truly "official" option. I believe you can use them in a Feral Ork list, but I'd be surprised if he has one of those because they're pretty rare. If he custom designed it he needs the opponent's permission (a.k.a. you) to use it. If it's in an Imerpial Armour book, or some other such book (I'm not totally sure what exactly is in those seeing as I don't have them) then I think he needs your permission unless it specifically states otherwise.
Having said that if he went to the work of making one (unless he's just proxying it) I'd let him use it unless it's really overpowered/underpriced in your eyes. Use your discretion, but I'd lean towards just letting him use it. The game is ultimately about having fun rather than just winning...
ok,So i have an array of tanks not in the codex (vanquisher,Executioner) Do i need his permisison for to use tthoes? Also it is the Fw squig.
Yes, you need his permission to use those tanks. But since you both have FW models, you should just let each other use them.
So Even if his unit can kill my whole army? it is a bigger unit.
Id let you use the vanquisher as it was in the last codex and its not your fault they took it out
Look up the rules for the squiggoth yourself http://uk.games-workshop.com/orks/feral%2Dork%2Dlist/1/
"Hey sarge, this lasgun is heavy. I wish we had something lighter."
FF7: ABOUT RANDOM BATTLES
Yea, it wouldn't be too fair if you said he can't field the squiggoth and expect to field your tanks.
You should maybe concider ways of nulifying his squiggoth?
Thanks everyone. And kos-mos for thoes stats.
