I know yo can fire weapons from a rhino on the move, does this mean that I can fire my multi-meltas and rocket launchers for example while the rhino is moving less than 6"
No - if you want to fire heavy weapons from the top-hatch you have to remain stationary...it's ok with repid fire or assault weapons though...
Flamer from a rhino is pretty cool, like a drive by!

Inside: Stormtrooper squad (or Hardened Veterans for that matter) armed with 2 flamers.
Vehicle drives past. Vehicle puts down 4 flamer templates. Vehicle drives on.
Its a tough life in the 41st millenium.
Even with marines you could go for Cleanse And Purify and have two flamers out a passing Rhino.

Everything you have been told is a lie!
Cheredine, too right.
Moved to Rules Qs.
... and one incoming shot and it's all gone. Why anyone is still using rhinos in 4th edition is just beyond me. The other point is that the templates are sooo short-ranged. I Once saw a friend of mine completely destroy a mech-mounted SoB army by turn 4 with his Tau. What wasn't blown up was entangled. It wasn't pretty and it put me off using transports for good.Originally Posted by Cheredanine
