hi i just started a witch hunters army and im trying to build a 1000-1500 point army i arealdy have 2 ten women squad of ststers with one veteran superiorin each squad and a flamer and storm bolter in each squad, a penitent engine, and a squad of arco-flagellant's any sugestions on what to add next would be greatly welcome :yes:

Help with army
Judging from what you have it may be an idea to get an Exorcist and a Cannoness. The main problem I found when starting this army was the lack of long range shooting, since I came from the Eldar race to begin with it took a while to get used to this. Exorcists help with this greatly though since they are suited to knocking out most things. The Cannoness with act as a sturdy HQ choice since she adds extra faith points to the stack as well as being rather tough in the combat region (Though not much compared to most other HQs from other races, so becareful who you pit her with when using)
Also increasing your penitant engine squadron to either two or three will give them a higher chance of getting into combat. Because of their relatively meagre armour values a single model may find itself being knocked out the game early on.
Lastly, I would recommend getting two Heavy Flamer sisters (can be found in sinlge blisters) and replace them with the storm bolters. Often using multiple large templates that can hot multiple models without rolling to hit combined with the "Divine Guidance" act of faith kills a lot of models regardless of what type of armour they are wearing (this ranges from terminator armour to crappy no armour). Now normally a player would may say "pish flamers? I'd be assaulted before I could get a shot off." (unless you're Plague of course), but this is easily remedied by giving them a Rhino Transport with Extra armour and Smoke Launchers. Being able to move 12", disembark and shoot gives each squad with only flamer type weapons high chances of using them, also the squad is protected by the armoured chasis from basic weaponary and being caught into combat. Note, this is a good idea if you wish to go towards a Mechanised based force in particular but still helps in regular armies

well in order to use the penitent engine you will need a priet which is $10, also buy a cananess... they rock thats another $10. after that you should take the flamer and storm bolter and switch em. that way you will have 10 sis. w/ 2 flamers and 10 sis. w/ 2 storm bolters. then maybe even convert the flamer into a heavy flamer for another 6pts. after that i would suggest a retributor squad w/ 4 heavy bolters, a veteran superior, 1 sis w/ bolter, and an immolator transport with heavy flamer and holy promethium. that is another 90 or so $. so for about $110 you could have an HQ, a CC king, and a heavy support choice with a sturdy transport and powerful... powerful fire power... that is 12 Str. 5 Ap 4 shots!
