how feasable do you guys think it is to go:
point level would be from 1700 to 2000
Doctrines: Sharpshooters, Heavy Weapon Platoon, Grenadiers, Iron Discipline, fifth doctrine.. i dunno... suggestion?
HQ rigged for crazy leadership
-HSO with medallion crimson, trademark item, refractor field and iron discipline
-Commissar medallion crimson
2 Antitank support squads (sharp shooters)
-6 lascannon teams
2 Fire support squads (sharp shooters)
-3 Hvy Bolters
1 mortar support squad
Hvy Weapon Platoon
Command squad with good leadership
3 Antitank support squads (sharp shooters)
-3 missile launchers
Hvy 2 and 3
fill out the remaining points with grenadiers

Yes it sould and also you need two troop choices, as it stands you dont even have a list.
If you do things right people wont be sure if you have done anything at all.
There will be three Troops choices, if the points are allowed, as it was stated that, besides what's there, the rest of the points will be spent on Grenadiers, which are Troops.Originally Posted by zabien
And yes, this should be moved into the Army List section. :yes: NTFH, keep that in mind in the future if you are planning on posting a "list" of an army, etc. Tactics, ideas, and the likes can be in the main forum, but as soon as army lists are involved it should be in the Army Lists section, I do believe. ^_^
I dunno, I haven't really thought about your list much althuogh the serious lack of ablative armour really does worry me straight away.

I would not play this list just because it would be so boring. Sitting back and rolling dice would bore me after one or two turns. If you have plenty of heavy bolters to deal with swarms, this list could be devastating, if its up your alley.
