Played a drop pod army recently with my all Infantry list:
And unfortunately came up with recon as the mission, so I though why not deep strike my WHOLE army? So I did, ended up narrowly losing unfortunately but one query came up, when It comes for rolling for a plattoon to deep strike Is It one roll of a dice for all squads and the command or one roll of a dice for each Individual squad within the platoon?

'Each platoon counts as a single troops choice on the force organisation chart when deploying, and is rolled for collectively when rolling for reserves. Otherwise they function as independent units"
Page 44 of the codex
There it is, as long as its not rolling for reserves they all count as independent units when droping
"Hey sarge, this lasgun is heavy. I wish we had something lighter."
FF7: ABOUT RANDOM BATTLES
i thought ds was counted as reserves
No the platoon is the platoon. They do everything together. But the squads don't have any coheirancy for each other.
