A friend of mine says that if his Space Wolves HQ has a Wolf Guard bodyguard retinue (especially when it's packed in terminator armour) that i can't pick out his IC in close combat because the codex says that, with a retinue, he does not count as an IC...
I'm tired of arguing so would you guys please help. Even if i'm wrong
Any IC can be picked out in CC. You're friend either doesn't know or is trying to protect his character.
He doesn't count as an IC in that he can't leave his purchased retinue, and join another squad, until his retinue is detroyed. Other than that, yes he can be picked out in CC
Absolutely correct, furthermore, as an IC in CC he can't hit anyone if he is not in base to base with at least one enemy. IF his is base to base, then that enemy and others within 2 inches CAN focus their attacks into the IC.Originally Posted by Adrian_MalSeraph
