What song (Modern or Classical) would be the best themesong for the Sororitas?
Witch Hunt- Misfits (Obvious reasons)
Morgenstearn - Rammstein (Lot of chanting, and then solid guitar, not to mention the orderly, yet dark singing)
Beast and the Harlot - Avenged Sevenfold (Lots of Daemonic refrences, very cryptic)
Molly - Mindless Self Indulgence (Ok, this is a less serious one, but it reminds me of my SoBs)
2700 Pts of (40K) Nurgle/Khorne 7/16/05
1500 Pts of Dwarves 6/11/08
I DO LIKE A GOOD GRUMBLE!
Ok well here's some more:
Fuel - Metallica (especially appropriate for Immolators)
Dragula - Rob Zombie (lyrically appropriate for Sisters)
Coming Undone - Korn (seems to fit)
Burn, Burn - Lostprophets (works)
Catholic School Girls Rule - Red Hot Chili Peppers (mostly for fun)
Science - System of a Down (mentions faith, and it's a cool song)
5 Tactical Squad Marines
there was a topic about this a while back and i remember everyone saying numerous heavy rock songs etc lol... they do seem to fit with the bolters and flamers and alien scum being mowed down...
-SONS of RUSS member-
Exiled until 5thED redo...
I had started one of these awhile back, but none the less,
Burn the Witch-Queens of the Stoneage(kinda self explanatory)
In an Imperium of a million worlds, what is the death of one world in the cause of purity?
He who allows the alien to live,
shares its crime of existence.
I'm not very good with music but how about some of the Lord of the Rings theme music (Return of the king when the riders of rohan charge down the hill) or Star wars orcastra theme. I think they would suit quite well with an army of hundreds of transports or jet pack users racing across the battlefield.
I don't think rock-music would be that good. Instead I think these enormous orchestras singing praise to the Emperor would be much more appropiate.
I have always pictured Penitent Engines wading into their enemies to the tune "Machine Head".
Look it up on the web and give it a listen.
"The sword that takes life gives life."
"girl all the bad guys want" by Bowling for soup..... (you know those space marines are checking them out)
2000pts Orks 4-2-1
I always imagined Seraphim bearing down on you to the sound of Wagner's Flight/Ride of the Valkaries.
If any of you don't know it (Classical music!), it was famously used in Apocalypse Now.
