Hey all... I just put up a pic of a recently finished sentinel, and thought I'd post it here just in order for you guys to have something to look at. For me, there's great joy in watching everybody else's armies so I figured I'd return the favour. Not that we get alot of posts here showing the armies of the forum readers. =(
Well, only have these painted up so far: www.godzilla.se/40k/ig.html - haven't painted any of my mordians etc. This is what I've gotten around to paint this last year, since I bought them all. Yeah, I'm lazy.
Any time soon, I'll make a proper site for my army detailing all the units I have (with pics), painted or not painted. Then I can just update it as I go along...
Got two more sentinels, one finished and one half done (base painted and shaded) which are coming up soon. Just need to get some more paint for my bases.
very nice paint job
When goblins blow themselves up its stupidity. But when humans blow themselves up its bravery....odd isn't it
I like your color scheme it makes your guys look very "clean"

Nice job...uniforms are so clean. [Ya need ter fight some more Orks]
Great. Keep up the good work.
"Da Orks is da best cuz we ar ded ard an killy, mean, green, krumpin machines, hav da most dakka, da stompiest dreads, da shootiest gunz, da biggest bosses, an we uze choppas...WAAAGH!"
Hakbash, you have no idea how right you are! I've never actually fought orks, as there are no/few ork players in my gaming club.
It's a pity, cause orks are by far my favourite race - but after having had (and sold) an orc army for fantasy, playing and painting two orc teams for Blood Bowl and playing Gorka Morka as well, I figured I didn't want to once again whip out those goblin green and black orc green (uhm... that's DA green nowadays, right?) so I went for IG for 40k instead.
And yeah, my boys like to keep themselves squeeky clean. Nah, I'm just not very good at painting "gritty" paintjobs so I decided to keep a good looking, but basic and clean basilisk instead of a sloppy weathered one. Don't care much for the muddy and chipped paint style either. Thanks for the kind words!
damn nice models wish i could paint that well.

what grey did you use on the sentinel's multilaser?

That would be Codex Grey. Hardly highlighted, heavily shaded instead.
what's a lighter shade of grey?
Member of the Fluffmasters Clan
Dunno, that's the only "pure" grey I have. Space Wolves grey would be lighter but it's more light blue... the fatigues on the pilot of my sentinel is in SWG.
