Ok guys and girls, heres the deal.... I run a IG army and for an upcoming city fight campaign i would like a bit more cc punch. Ive settled on the idea of an inquisitor lord (and not daemon hunters as a friend has an army of these buggers and i like to be original), and i'd like him to be mainly for HQ assassination, as we have brother captains, Smurf commanders, big bugs and a couple of big daemons roaming around for him to play with.
What i'd like from you guys is an effective combination of lord and henchmen for use in this campaign, cc based of course....
Thanks for any help rendered!!
Inquistion force WIP. Pics on posts 17 and 23.
Not sure how many points you want to spend on them but just a rough run down from memory.
Inq Lord with Plasma Pistol, Force Weapon - Master Crafted, Rosarius, Inq Mandate, Digital Weapons, and take the Psychic powers Word of the Emperor and Purgatus.
3 Acolytes in Power Armor
I wanna say it was like 350 to 400 ish in points.
My wife used this on me a few nights ago.
The Familiar and Chirurgeons stayed back at max unit coherency. Was kinda ugly and unexpected when she ran them headlong into my warrior line. She used a rhino to tank shock the other squad seperating them but effectively blocking my Lords easy retreat. Ran her Sisters in and engaged the other warrior unit leaving the Lord on his own. I didn't have him attached. Got REAL messy after that for me and a turn later I was short a Lord and my main line was in a real bad state.
