Ok, this could go in any forum, I guess, but I'm a Marine player and I'm looking at the SPACE MARINE MEGAFORCE.
Are the unit sprues in the Boxed Sets identical to the sprues you would normally get in an individual box? For example, the Razorback pictured on the Megaforce Box shows a Heavy Bolter... are Lascannons in there too?
The big one I'm interested in is the Commander... will he come with all the options you normally get in a Commander box?
So on and so forth? I would think so, but I wanted to confirm before I took the leap.
Yes. You get everything you would get in a normal box for everyting in the megaforce. Its just all those single box sprues stuck into one big box. So yes you get the lascannon and yes you get all the commander options. Peace dude,

One thing MIGHT be mentioned though, the Battleforce force boxes are now generally considered a value at $90US...
BUT, you might do well to check to straight retail of all the parts you want from a larger "megaforce" style box. If there is a SINGLE unit in there you probably won't use, they generally aren't worth the money (being the same price as buying everything separately). This is changing to some degree with the new Tau Empire Megaforce box. I don't know off-hand if it's the same with the SM box.
Baby, when I'm the voice of reason, we've got problems!~artificerSomeone should stop

The SM megaforce box is, in my oppinion, the best valued and usefull box set out there minus the Necron Battleforce. Games Workshop US lists the price at $160.00 american (http://store.us.games-workshop.com/s...536&GameNav=10
And you get a tact squad, a combat squad, a command squad, a commander, a razorback and a squad of termies:w00t: . It just doesn't get any better than that! Its well worth the money if you compare it with everything priced indavidualy and it really gives you a great starting SM army that is easy to build on. Everything in that box I would field every game becuase its all very usefull. But thats just my oppinion:rolleyes: , Peace

Whoa, the US Megaforce is $160 and thats all you get? The Canadian version has far more stuff in it and is listed at $250CAD... Thats roughly $225 USD
From the GW Online Store (link below):
The Space Marine Megaforce is the ultimate starting point for any Space Marine army. Alternatively it can be used to expand an existing army.
The boxed set contains:
one Commander with 5 man Command squad,
a 10 man Tactical squad,
a 5 man Combat squad with Razorback transport,
5 man Scout squad,
5 man Assault Squad,
one Predator tank
and a Space Marine Dreadnought.
Wow. Thats even a better starting point then the US megaforce. I would say its totally worth it and if I had to start SM again I'd use that as my starting point. Why I looked at the American Site when I live in Canada I don't know. Guess I love the states too much:rolleyes:

Guess I love Canada too much then because that's the best MegaForce we have ever had. IT's well balanced too! Buy it if you're starting Space Marines.
P.S. Battle Boxes and MegaForces generally come with MORE sprues than if you buy units individually. My friend got alot of extra equipment and random items with his BattleBox.
