Epistolaries are the only Librarian's allowed to take 2 Pshychic powers, their 2 wound counterparts, the codiciers only get 1. An Epistolary pays the same price as a Codicier for their first phsychic power but pay more for their 2nd power. I believe all that is in the Codex or if you have an Army Builder Program it will tell you the price for the epistolaries second power. Peace,

Incorrect, more like you pay the second price if you add a power, and if you replace the 'Storm of the Emperor's Wrath' then you pay the first price. To put it simply, if I wanted to have one power other than 'Wrath' then I would pay the first price. If I wanted to have an extra power to go with 'Wrath' I would pay the second price. And if I wanted to replace Wrath and get another power then I would pay the first for the replacement, and the second for the extra. So while you have the first power costing less, it's only if you replace 'Wrath'

All Librarians whether they are a Codicier or Epistolary get Storm of the Emperors wrath for free. If you don't want that specific power on your codicier or your epistolary you must pay to get another power. So if you only want one psychic power on you Epistolary but you don;t want it to be STotEW, then you pay the exact same point cost to change it to a different FIRST power as a Codicier would pay if you were to switch its power. If you wanted to add a second power on your Epistolary then you pay a higher point cost then what the first power cost you. So I was correct the first time.

Sorry, but you should have been as descriptive the first time. I didn't mean to sound snobish so sorry again.

Yes indeed as blood_angelmarine says, costs differ for the Epistolaries power. It pays to sit down and carefully consider what order to buy as his 'first' power (to replace SotW) and 'second' power as considerable savings can be made. For instance:

Fury then Veil = 33 points
Veil then Fury = 19 points
