What would you suggest for a Blood Angels army?
I'm deciding between a Rhino, Scouts with sniper rifles, or a Landspeeder.
The only reason I'm considering the Rhino is because the Death Company get one for free, and they can still get out of it after having used Tturbocharged engines (which is one of the best Blood Angels special rules, in my opinion.)
The Scouts with sniper rifles would be good for vehicles and taking down monstrous creatures, and if I remember correctly, they get the sniper rifles for free. I'd double-check myself, but alas, I can't find my Space Marines codex. So, please input your opinions!
Hate to rain on your parade, but Blood Angels can no longer disembark from a fast moving Rhino, but I could be wrong on that. Check the FAQ to be sure.Originally Posted by Squishy3
Scouts most certainly don't get their Sniper Rifles free.
I'd also suggest that you tell us what models you have already, so we can make better suggestions.
You are, as ever, on the money, they can not disembark from vehicles that have moved over 12 inches.Originally Posted by Firedrake28

Everything you have been told is a lie!
If those are your options you're looking at I would say to go with the Land Speeder and make it of the Tornado variety. As stated though I think you should post what your collection looks like now and people can give you better suggestions.
Ok, as for what I have.
I've got Chaplain Lemartes as my first HQ choice, and a commander with terminator armour and stormbolter and power fist, iron halo, and an adamantium mantle.
Troops wise I have two tactical squads, mainly all bolters and sergeants with bolt pistols and chain sword, one missile launcher in one squad, though. I also have two Scouts squads, one that mainly consists of 4 sniper rifles and 2 bolters, as well as a heavy bolter and a sergeant with a bolt pistol and chainsword. Second one consists of 4 bolters, a heavy bolter, and a sergeant with bolt pistol and chainsword.
Heavy Support, currently all I have is a Baal Predator equipped with Heavy Bolter side sponsons and a twin-linked assault cannon.
I have a Razorback with pintle-mounted stormbolter and twin-linked Lascannon as my transport choice.
I also have two squads of Terminators, one assault squad and one regular squad.
Skip the sniper scouts. Of the three choices you mentioned, a Landspeeder is best because the vehicle-mounted heavy weapons can move and shoot, but sniper rifles and troop-based heavy weapons can't. And the black rage rules really snag you at just the wrong time, when you REALLY need those heavy weapon shots...
A Rhino would be good for tactical troops but not for DC. As Cheredanine said, Jump Packs are the way to go. Much more maneuverability (and they cost less!).
Regular scouts would be a good choice, though.
Two squads of terminators sound abit to much to me, I would have settled for one regular.
Also you did not list any assault marines, get atleast one squad for counter charging and such.
And as mentioned, get jumppacks for the DC. There is a reason why everyone have them.
The Baal is good for heavy support, but die quite easely. Perhaps i devastator squad or something? They will occasionally rage, but I find that they almost always earn their points anyway.
Just for your reference, you cannot give an iron halo to a model in terminator armor.Originally Posted by Squishy3

you may only have one relic.

Since you're playing Blood Angels, Assault Squads are your best bet 9 times out of 10. The Angels and their Successors have brutal assault capability, and the best way to unlock their potential is to make sure that you're assaulting!
