The past weekend I stumbled upon a big community yard sale where someone was selling thier son's old GW stuff. While going through the pile of parts I bought. I found parts for a demolisher. I don't own one, and have 5 leman russ tanks now. I want to convert one into a demolisher. My question is this. For the main cannon, is the pewter cannon 4 parts or 3?
These are the 3 pieces that I have. A buddy of mine says there should be a 4th "cap" piece that goes on the end of the cannon itself. Looking at the picture of the GW webpage I can't really tell. Can anyone confirm this?
Even if it isn't perfect, it should still fly in Terms of WYSIWYG
But It does look like everything's there.
Yep, there are only three pieces to look out for. However, I can't really tell whether you have those three from the picture itself... sorry.
This looks to me like the old demolisher cannon barrel, which I know to be a little longer than the newer one. Never had any experience assembling the older one though, so I can't really help you here.
I've got the old one, and it doesn't look like its it is missing anything?

Your buddy is sort of right, there is a fourth piece that is missing but thats a piece that replaces the back hatch of the remaln russ. That part is just a more heavily armoured back hatch though, so theres nothing wrong with not having it.

for more armour just slap some card/random plastic/etc on the back. But try to make it look convincing.

most of teh tanks pieces that you need you can just convert
but just use card to fix that back hatch, it should work
