I have no what idea what these are :unsure: , and since they seem to be on the new Witchunters list :lol: , can anyone tell me?thanks in advance
Well, obviously from the photo, they're some sort of hand to hand unit, with (presumably) multiple attacks from the whips comming from each arm. Anything further than that is speculation. I'm guessing they'll be Elites, since I can't see these guys as troops or heavies. Your guess is as good as mine about their stat line, or whether the whip things are going to have special rules. Doesn't look like there's going to be much of an armor save, either.
i think they will be like death cultists for deamonhunters, 1-3 per elite slot, maybe an 5+ invul save or something?
They come in squads of circa 6. Not sure about the stat line but I've a feeling that they have power weapons. As for background check out the Inquisitor RPG, they're heretics/criminals that have been lobotimised and cyber enhanced, when they hear a keyword they go on a killing spree, basically point them at the heritics and let 'em loose.

Arco Flags- are decent but have the 35pts overhead and have a chance of dying before seeing combat. On the move phase they role a dice and ona 6 one dies outright and they move that much further. in combat if they roll a 6another one dies aswell. They can only be 6 per sqd so you really have to be careful, but they have good stats, power weapons and an 4+ inv.
35pts for dying models sounds really bad. Then again you blood angel players need to roll low for good benefits. So do arcoflaggets I guess.

Fluff wise Acroflagellants are the heretics that have been punished by being molded into perfect close combat killing machines pumped full of drugs with a large array of CC weapons. They aren't susceptible to pain, and I guess that would explain the Invuln save that someone said they have.
If you like the SoB, the only book I've read that has any fluff about them so far is the Crossfire novel about a Arbitor Senioris named Calpurnia. Not focused on the SoB, but they are in there, and they talk about the acroflagellants briefly, after they have to fight them .

Are you guys sure there can only be 6 in a squad? The list I saw (well before the printed ones showed up at GW stores) said differently.
Yes, it states 3-6 in a squad at 35 points per model that has a chance of dying 2 times before inflicting damage. But they do have power weapons and 4+ inv. save, fearless, holy rage.
