i was just thinkin with the new DA codex coming out, what would you like, or what would be cool? i reckon allowing two plasma cannons in a tac squad would be awesome.
More Ravenwing options.
Mixable squads of Deathing Terminators.
Some kind of 'Plasma Vehicle'.
Oh and better models. LST's for less than £54 for a Squadron. DW Terminators. etc.

Rumors on Warseer say that the new Ravenwing Master on bike will have a jetbike. Very nice.
I'm going over there now to dig up what I can.
I have heard rumors that they are going to tool down the army alot. The army as a whole is a very pumped up army to play against a tool down would be nice , but I would like to see them make some big changes with ravenwing armies.
You've lost me there 76.
Although Ravenwing LST's gain a free 6+ jink invulnerable it is still only a 6+ and worth almost nothing in my mind due to its total lack of relaibility.
If you think LST's are overpowered then tone them down for Codex: Vanila SM too.
Furthermore Ravenwing can take exactly as many LST's as any other SM army.
Ravenwing Bikers are overpriced quite badly, SM ones got a pts reduction. DA ones did not. Furthermore 'Turbo-Boost' had made the 6+ invulnerable even worse than before.
Trait Bikers can get skilled riders and Furious Charge for comparable points, a far better deal than a worthless 6+.
Intractable is free, but not overpowering. Forcing DA players to pay points for it would reduce the use of Assault Marines and other Assault Units even more consigning us to the 'Shooty' cupboard forever.
Deathwing paying 5pts for Stuborn is rediculous. A Death Guard Terminator costs just 1pt more and is immune to pinning and has T5!. You pay 5pts on a Vet Sgt to make 10 Tactical Marines Suborn, but 50pts to make 10 Terminators.

I don't care what anyone says DA is one of the most overpowered chapters of a the SM chapters. they have to vanilla all the SM because they are so tough and that is way everyone and their little brother plays them.
I'm very excited for the Dark Angels to come out. i don't really have any wants for the new codex, though, as I haven't actually played Dark Angels yet - just regular space marines.
It would be cool to have some sort of plasma vehicle, though. The stuff already mentioned in this thread sounds good, too.
As being an ancient and revered chapter, in fact the oldest of all, they got to take a plasma cannon, one of the most ancient weapons of the Imperium. With the arrival of the new Codex: SM, this eliminated that. Therefore, I think they should swap their spec wep for a 2nd Plasma cannon, due to the fact they have access to this ancient technology. Other than that, a few jetbikes (rock on!) and a LR w/ TL Plasmacannon side sponsons, and maybe a razorback with plasma cannons for us...I can see it now, plasma templates raining all hell on an enemy Deathwing army..haha.
to me the dark angels are about as a perfect marine army as you can get, make a squad stubborn for 4/3 the cost of a marine, c'mon a fearless squad that will go where you want them to when you want them to is not shooty, it's got its shooting priveliges and assault priveleges, i don't know how many times my opponent has said 25% casualties and i just replied stubborn . then going on with that squad to stuff up his whole day because they just wouldn't stop. no last man standing tests or rubbish like that, straight on and into another squad with a power fist. against guard i had the last man of 2 squads take out 4.5 guardsman squads because they were stubborn and had power fists:shifty: . the assault potential of the dark angels is tremendous, but if they fail that test when they arn't wtubborn they're a shooty army. just because they don't run and they only shoot back, besides you ask any veteran that when you're outnimbered and have no chance of retreat regroup and attack your chances are better if you just stand and fight
Ok fellows we have a difficult task, so we have to be more deadly than everyday.
Make mistakes and confuse the enemy - The Doctor
Tactics are nice but it is violence that wins the day.
I'd like to see some new Deathwing options to make them more "special." I heard rumors of a piece of wargear that allows a first turn deepstrike which would rock, but I'm very skeptical. Two PCs in a tac. squad would also be really cool.
