I'm interested in getting a squad of regular Close Combat Marines with Bolt Pistols and Chainswords for my army. Mostly to use for an alternate option for my Landraider or to use as Vetrans with the Skills.
The problem is that I don't know where to get them, I'm pretty sure that normal Tac boxes don't have ten CC arm sets. The closest I can figure is to get two boxes of Assault Marines and just not attatch the Jump Packs.
Do you guys know anywhere I can get them?
People who don't know how to use artillery are using artillery, and that scares me. -TacJack
Bring out the Bikes!
the space wolf blood claws box set will have just what you're looking for, 10 marines with bolt pistols and ccw, plus there's the kick @$$ space wolf accessory sprue that has a melta power fist, and some other goodies on it which is included.
2000pts Orks 4-2-1
The only problem with that is the space wolve bodies, but you can hack off the all the wolf symbals if you want.
You can also buy spure from GW, with just a bolt pistol and CCW, 2 arms, and 2 shoulder pads.
As far as I know, they're 10 marines in it. Front torso/back torso, legs, head. The Space wolves torso's come seperatly from the included SW sprue. Last week I've bought a 13th company Storm claws box. I needed a couple of normal marines and some Chaos marines. There were like 10 BP + CCW sprues in it, the wolves sprue, 6 seperate marines (without the SW iconography) and a 4 CSM sprue.

The assault marine box is a pretty good way to go, since you do get 10 complete BP/CCW marines in the pair. Not to mention the powerfists and such that are always useful.
Take life seriously, its lethal.
buy the blood claws they are worth im on my 3rd for my Diy chapter usin them as assault squads W/O jump packs wish they came with a plasma gun though the wolf sprue is sick thogh.
"They shall all taste OBLIVION!,.....which tastes like Red Bull, which is disgusting."
Man was I wrong. This box is soooo cool. I love my squad with a couple of chaos backpacks, some chaos legs and a dude with a chaos chain sword and meltagun. Plus a vet Srgt with a power fist from the wolf sprue (it is really easy to slice the wolf head off.
This box with give you a darn good looking assualt squad without jump packs and for a lot less $$$ than two assualt squads
If you build a man a fire he will be warm for a night. If you set a man on fire he will be warm the rest of his life.
You could also try the Black Templars upgrade sprue, that has loads of CCW's and bolt pistols on it.

Well I'm also here to expound the virtues of the blood claw box. The space wolf torsos are entirely optional (since it gives you enough regular marine torsos to make 10) as well as a whole lot of other stuff. You also end up with 10 or so plasma pistols for future sergeants and the like as well as a meltgun, powerfist and power weapon. Overall it's pretty good value for GW. You'll end up with more bits and all the necessary parts for 10 marines. It should also give you a bunch of helmetless heads for potential leaders if that is your wish.
