Right. I was on holiday in Cornwall recently, and bored out of my skull. So I decided to flip through some old WDs before Simpsons came on (as u can see I have a wild social life ). As I was flipping through this WD, I saw the article on Abhuman Doctrines, and was excited. Here, I thought, was a good auxiliary army to collect, one that hopefully wouldn't drain too many funds away from my WHF. So I decided to do it, and look for advice on it on the internet. So here I am.
Can you post the number of WD where you can find those doctrines, please? I haven't found them yet.
Thats awesome. I love to see people go the road less traveled and make fun armies using the troop selections no one else seems to want.
I don't remember offhand what the abhuman doctrines are, but they include using ratlings and ogryns, right?
Ratlings are excellent troops. I always use them in my Mordian army, and they usually do very well for me.
As for Ogryns, a lot of people rail them for being too easy to kill with powerfists, which is true, powerfists DO kill them VERY easily. There's a simple solution for that though...dont let them get into combat with a powerfist! They're great for tieing people up and knockin' em' on their @$$es.
Have fun with the army. Good luck!

What abhuman doctrines are you thinking of using, some of them are competitive such as afriel strain which is the most competitive abhuman doctrine. And from the very few times i have used slave levies they worked out pretty well.

As a Plymothian from Devon I nearly broke a rib on finding that Cornwall inspired you to do an Abhuman Legion.
What can I say, small village families dont really give you much choice in wife...and i'm sure all the Radon didn't help.
Abhumans can give you things like furious charge, slow and purposfull with FnPain and 'and they shall know no fear' among other choices. My favourite has to be slave levies.
Every time you read this sig: a fairie dies!
Right I intend to make a twistwed army of misfits. The core of it will be Homo Sapiens Variatus Conscripts, with maybe a few Slaves or Subs (I realise Subs ain't that good, but they tie in with my fluff, so hey). Ill probably take some Ogryns, and try to take some Afriels. Then the rest of the force will be made of regular Imperial Guard fire support and Daemonhost Daemonhunter Allies.
Ooou...subs and gland war veterans
Good luck with that, i can't really help you much though
