well the first space marines i got were given to my by a friend who moved away about 30 marines in all. some mostly painted others still in the box
so my question is which chapter house specalizes in jungle warfare or siege warfare
also i would like to contract someone who would be willing to do some work painting the spacemarines i have.
I personally like to paint my own models, but you know...
And please, take care of your spelling and grammer. That would be much appreciated.
i personally like to paint miniaturers too but due to vision problems its rather diffucalt. i can still do armor and landscaping but the really fine details are kinda fuzzy
By chapter house do you mean chapter or company s their is no "house"? Imperial Fists excel in siege warfare as for jungle warfare Salamanders might as the fought a lot in the equilatoral jungle during the 3rd War for Armageddon.

sorry about the termonaligy this is fairly new to me
salamanders and imperial fists you say.
ahhhhhh i see what you mean now
no the for the loyalists there are no greater seige fighters than the iron hands and i don't beleive marines have jungle fighters purely cuz they don't need to a marine is more likely to knock a tree out of the way rather than walk around it but i fany chapter was to be considered than the space wolves would be the most logical choice as they are able to track their opponents under any conditions and are known to be rather "feral" which would fit in with a jungle concept

Imperial fists are legionary siege warriors. But its possible to make even better siege warriors with a chapter of your own.
Honour your wargear, is quite a powerful trait of siege warfare, which in war hammer translates into lots of big guns. Other traits could also help with this, such as suffer not the works of heretics.
As far as Jungle fighters, there is no chapter which inherently embodies such traits. The best traits for fighting the jungle seem to be infiltrate to me. So see but dont be seen would work great.
Then it would depend on how extreme you want to get with this style of play. Cleanse of purify could allow you to field to special weapons, such as flamers, which are the best weapons in jungle terrain (but would be horrible other wise.) Or you could have take the fight to them. The bolter isn't so good in jungles, a bolt pistol and CCW would be better.
For draw backs, siege warriors would probably use eye to eye, or aspire to glory - however if you take honor your wargear, flesh over steal is actually best.
Jungle fighters would best be suited both in fluff and tactics with flesh over steal. what good are transports or tanks when you can only see 6" and are constantly being forced to take dangerous terrain checks.
Or what you can do is make up your own chapter and use the two traits of "See, but Don't Be Seen" and "Honour Your Wargear". Then take the disadvantages of "We Stand Alone" and "Eye To Eye"
Basically "See, But Don't Be Seen" allows for Devastator Squads which have excellent Heavy Weapons (making it seem like they carry siege weaponary) to have infiltrate (to allow them set up closer to the enemy, which can result of them to act like they are stalking in woods or in terrain if you'd like to place them in there.) "Honour Your Wargear" allows you to have more Devastator squads as Elite Choices and Heavy Support, which basically means 6 squads of Devastator. Good Idea right if your gonna start a Marine Army.
The Only downfall is you can't take allies (Bye Bye Sisters of Battle, and Daemonhunter units) and that you have a 0 - 1 selction on Landspeeders and Bikes. Oh well, fill up on Vindcators and Predators.
Anyway hope this helps
