Welcome to Librarium Online!
So I stumbled on yet another question, and I couldnt find any topic about it with the search function, so here goes.
With the Scions of Mars trait it allows you to put terminator armour on 1 wound models with access to the armoury. I was thinking, and wondering, regarding Veteran Sergeants. The trait sets the Terminator Armour points cost for 1 wound characters to the same of upgrading a Sergeant to a Veteran Sergeant (in effect giving him Terminator Honours). But since Terminator Armour already includes Terminator Honours would I then subtract the points cost for Terminator Honours from the Armour implying free Terminator Armour for Veteran Sergeants or would these points just go in the drain?
They go down the drain mate.

If anyone wants any kind of help writing fluff for any kind of GW army just ask.
Sadly, true. The sergeant needs TH to get access to the armoury, Then he can buy Termie armour. you can't un-spend the points.
The cheaper cost of termie honor given in the Scions of Mars trait accounts for the fact that you already have terminator honors, so you still pay Xpts total, but it accounts for the +Ypts for honors and discounted +Zpts for armor.
ok thanks for clearing that up for me guys, appreciate it.
Termie armor costs Xpts from the armory straight up, and in an army with the Scions of Mars trait, it costs Y points for single-wounders. The difference between X and Y is Z, which is the cost of terminator honors for the 1-wounder, so it ends up the same cost.
Unless you are trying to take Termie Sgts w/o Scions of Mars, then it's more expensive.
IC's get Terminator armour - with Terminator Honours for x points.
1-wound models must spend y points to get Terminator Honours and access to the wargear charts and y (the point cost is the same) points for the armour.
z > x
z = x + 5
