    Land Speeder Tactics

    I remember once there was a tactic post for using land speeders,have searched but could not find it.

    What is the best way to deploy and use land speeder ? (Especially tornados) How tou use them and what to take care when using ?

    Land Speeders are killing machines, but have very weak AV so can be gunned down by even basic weaponry. I use speeders to either draw fire from other units or to go mashing up small enemy units. People fear the assault cannon, so a disproportionate amount of fire tends to go into speeders. Keep them moving and their speed should make them fairly safe.

    Our wonderful mentor, Chaosbrynn, who is no longer with us (sniff), has developed quite the Library of Space Marine unit tacticas that are accessible to the general public.

    To sum it up though.

    a) Take Land Speeder Tornadoes
    b) Use high manouverability and speed to find single enemy unit with LoS.
    c) Destroy enemy unit with lots of lovely rending shots.
    d) Repeat.

    Also, never Deep Strike and MM can be cool too (though I'd use an Attack bike myself).

    Its a great Tactica, but unfotunately it is somewhat outdated:
    Speeders cant fire on the turn they Deep Strike, according to GW FAQ.

    That's right, because they count as moving more than 12 inches.
